I’d sooner focus on writing well. I get readers that way, I get paid that way and I improve that way. Not by begging for sign ups.

I used to play in bands. A lot of promoters wanted us, the bands, to promote the night. This new affiliate scheme has the same whiff of using artists to do a job medium (the platform/promoters) should be doing.
