Amen! I’ve always thought the Tony Robbins theory about “modelling” success (find someone who is successful, do exactly what they did and get their results) just isn’t true.

The only thing I believe makes people successful is authenticity.

I too have had an article go super-viral. Just one. The other 180 articles over the last few years got nothing.

But in a funny way, that’s not my business. I read a brilliant quote that said

“You’re not entitled to the fruits of your work, just the work.”

For me that’s So true. It helped deal with the frustration. It’s the process that delivers, not some arbitrary praise or goal.

Who knows what hits or why. No-one knows. Bit Hollywood studios or suited men who push stocks about.

All we can do as artists (writers are definitely artists!) is create and try to be as authentic as possible.

Which, by the way I think you do well. Thanks for writing. 🙏🏼
