Why is red meat to be avoided? It provides zinc as the article states earlier, and humans have been eating meat in general for 2 million years, red or otherwise.
I can understand avoiding processed red meat such as sausages and some smoked meats, but red meat as in steak or lamb is different. Is this a problem?
Is the article suggesting a steak increases inflammation? It wouldn’t raise insulin levels particularly. I can’t see the connection but I’m no doctor.
